Frequently asked

Do I need to know CAD to use this?

No. The boundary is drawn with a simple rectangle tool, not a CAD program, and the finished plan is handed to you as a CAD file at the end.

What file do I actually get?

A DXF drawing — walls, door swings and window openings, to scale. You can also export the on-screen figure as an SVG at any point, free and uncounted.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Every account starts on a free plan with its own download allowance. Paid plans add more downloads and different limits — see current plans and prices under Pricing.

Is it a subscription?

No. Every plan is a one-off charge, not a recurring one. Buying a new plan replaces whichever one you are on immediately; the old one stays in your history.

Can I change a plan after it is generated?

Yes — before you download it. Drag doors, windows, walls and rooms on the build step to adjust the result, undo with Ctrl+Z, or reset it back to how it was first solved.

Will I lose my boundary if I navigate away?

No, it is saved in your browser as you draw and survives a reload or going back a step. It is kept per browser tab, though, so it will not follow you to another tab or device, and closing the tab or clearing site data clears it.
